Oh Korea. This was taken in Myeong-Dong, Seoul, South Korea, back in December of 2010. It was my first time going in basically 20 years, so I was super excited. I will be visiting for a week very soon, and can’t wait! Already making a mini shopping list :) Can’t buy too much, as I have others plans towards the end of this year, but will get a few things for sure.

Throwback Thursday. My parents owned a few convinence stores during my childhood. They felt that during this part of our lives, that it was the best money venture for them. Anyway, one of the things my dad did with my brother and I, was to take us to the lakeshore to feed the geese. Once in awhile, the store would have bread that wasn’t sold by the expiry date, so the next day he would drive us down. Oddly, I was a huge fan of birds as a kid, and really REALLY enjoyed these sessions. I had always wanted more (not realizing that it would mean less profit for the store -___- selfish child lol). Anyway, that is me in purple, running to feed the geese, not realizing that me running was making them run away. You can’t really tell in the picture, but my dad is laughing, as my brother takes the picture.

I really love Clinique’s Grandest Grape. My friend got it for me for a birthday gift, and well I am pretty sure this has reached “end of life” status. So I squeezed in one more go at it :)
