I’m usually a dedicated user to the Make Up For Ever HD Foundation, but when I had the opportunity to check out the CoverGirl one, of course I was excited. I mean, I love my MUFE, but I usually can only get it at IMATS when it is 40% off. So having a decent foundation that I can get, cheaper, and at any time I wish, is pretty important.
CoverGirl m3 Golden Beige was the one that showed up on my doorstep.
The website tells us that the Prefect Blend “covers, yet disappears into skin”. Sounds oretty good. On top of that, it is of Light – medium coverage. If you dab, you can build up the coverage. If you want a more sheerer look, you can use a damp sponge.
With a pump dispenser, I find that it works pretty well, unlike the pump on the MUFE. It used to give me so much trouble! This allows me to take half a pump of the product, so user friendly for me.
So, you can see that it is fairly on the sheer side. This was using my kabuki to buff it about. It fills in my congested pores a bit. It also tones down the redness for the pimple outbreak there as well. I usually stipple a bit more for the areas I need more coverage.
I have oily skin, and yet I find that this sticks around for enough time. Usually see a little bit of a difference around the 6 hour mark, so I do a powder touch up. However it generally stays where I need it. I don’t think it will hold up as well in the warmer weather, but until summer officially hits, I should be safe to use this til then.

What shade are you in MUFE? I’m 120 in the HD Invisible Cover so would this shade fit my skintone?

I can’t actually be a 100% sure. I unfortunately didn’t bring that one with me. If I recall though, it was just a tad darker than 120, which I use as well. The thing is, both oxidize on me (MUFE a bit more than the Covergirl). So depending on that, you might want to try and step lower.
