Checking out another form of a favourite…

Ah titles.

They escape me at times. I was playing around with this one, and just couldn’t quite catch what I wanted to say.

In any case, today I wanted to share about a product I like using, in a different form.

So several weeks back, Marcelle had a promo online. If you spent over $25, you would get a gwp of their makeup remover, and their lovely Xtension Plus Mascara.

So of course I had to place an order. Except I didn’t know what to get, and thus I put it off.

Then when I went back a little while later, I found that their BB products were on sale! Success. I ended up picking up their BB cream in medium to dark, and their compact in light to medium. With taxes I paid a little over $33, and was super happy about it.

I’ve been using the MUFE Pro Finish compact, but it is always nice to try out another compact that I can carry about with me.

Having been released in the summer of 2012, this is an 8 in 1 product

I like the way that it has been set up. The sponge is pretty decent, as it is spongey, thick enough to work with, but not so hard that it would make application look cakey.

My friend has a Mamonde (Korean brand) BB Compact, and this reminds me of it.

I love that there is a separator for the sponge and the product.

The product fills in my pores a little, covers up the redness of my blemishes, and though it is harder to tell in the lighting, does even out my skintone overall.

I also love that they left enough of a gap that none of the product sticks to the little divider even after flipping it down.

Of course like any compact, it can be a pain. What I end up doing is using the sponge 4 times before cleaning it. I use a half for touch ups mid day, then use another half another day, then flip the sponge to the other side and use it another two times. It helps a lot, because I have pretty oily skin. This way, it decreases the amount of my oils getting in to the product and messing it up. In any case, that’s what I do.
