A few weeks before boxing day, I went to Sephora to use my giftcard. While standing in line, I saw this set. But there wasn’t a price tag. So when I got to the cashier, I got her to scan it for me, and it turned out to be $12. Excited, I picked it up. I had wanted to try it out, because Jill @JilloJello had mentioned it on several occasions. And at $12, it was a steal!
It turned out that it was a boxing day deal that was released early!
In any case, it contained the Buxom Stay-There Eyeshadow in Poodle, which is a very pale yellow gold. It first feels like a spongey slightly damp product, but goes on like a powder. It is also a little on the sheer side. But I like the versatility, as I can use it as a highlight is I blend it out well enough.
The other thing was the Eyeshadow Brush. A very dense brush that is just the right size. The brush holder isn’t that great though, as the vinyl material makes it hard to push the flap in to the loop. So I don’t actually use it.
Anyway, I like that it is such a light colour, which provides shimmer on the lid, brightening up the area if you just want a slight boost.
If you are tempted to try out the Stay There Eyeshadow’s, there is a duo set for Pug and the Eyeliner HERE for $18CAN
As a final tidbit, this is what the description for Sephora said about the naming of the products
In honor of our favorite Buxom Stay-There Eyeshadow and the furry friends they’re named after, Bare Escentuals is making a charitable contribution to Canine Companions for Independence, a non-profit organization that enhances the lives of people with disabilities by providing highly trained assistance dogs. – vis Sephora
