I had originally wanted to get this up earlier, but this was technically for tomorrow!
But I had forgetting about the Nail Polish Canada Valentine’s Contest, so I rushed to get it done :)
What I used…
CoverGirl Outlast Stay Brilliant Nail Gloss in Ever Reddy*
Orly in Bubbly Bombshell
Bundle Monster BM-H16*
Dotting Tool
Cheapie Rhinestones
Ever Reddy is a new addition to my stash thanks to BeautyUnited…but wowza do I ever like this one :D It reminds of me a Revlon red that my mom used to use when I was young. I would drool over it and beg her to paint my nails. I had learned quite quickly that toes grow slower, so I got her to paint my toes red so that I could look at the pretty colour longer lol
In general though, I love the colour red. I actually wanted to buy this gorgeous coat when I was at Holt’s last year…which my mom prompted gave me the evil eye for. Apparently I am not young enough to pull it off anymore. I have determined that next year, once I hit this new landmark, I am buying a red coat…if I can find a really nice one :P
Okay, enough back story…back to the nails…
I currently have two coats of FingerPaints Gel polish in Snow Globe Shimmer on my nails. So I stamped over it on the ring finger with the middle image on the Bundle Monster Plate BM-H16, using CoverGirl Ever Reddy. I then applied Ever Reddy in a heart shape to surround the stamp. I then applied the stones to outline the heart shape.
I think I SHOULD have stopped there…but I really REALLY like Orly Bubbly Bombshell…so I used a dotting tool to dot random curvy lines on the rest of the nails.
