As you know, I received the MapleVoxBox several weeks ago. As part of the badge requirements for testing the products, I need to write a review on the Montagne Jeunesse Masks. So that is the topic of discussion today :)
As you can see, I received the Dead Sea Spa in my box for testing.
The main points of this mask is the ingredients
Dead Sea Mud rich in minerals, draws out impurities and opens blocked pores
Dead Sea Salt known for healing and therapeutic effects
Seaweed restores moisture levels & revitalizes and firms skin leaving it hydrated and cleansed
Kelp packed with vitamins and minerals keeping skin nourished & moisturized, it also helps regenerate skin cells and helps with anti-aging
I have written about these before, and even put them in the little stocking stuffer gifts that I gave out to some friends. What I love about the mask is the ease of use. Typically you slather your face with a clay mask, wait for it to dry, and then painstakingly try to wash it off. Such a hassle. But with this, you take a mask created with bamboo fabric and infused with the clay, and simply lay it on your face. Once time is up, remove, wash off and BAM. Nice detoxed skin. Make sure to apply a moisturizer to your skin afterwards.
You should avoid application to the brows. Apparently it isn’t good for the hair follicles or something. I don’t know, that was what I was told by an Unni friend of mine when I did my first masque. In any case, you can see that it doesn’t right, so I had to make a few adjustments by way of making a few snips here and there.
And since I look creepy anyway, like the Scream character…
haha…
See how easy removal is? No need to scrub away at the face, causing irritation to remove the clay.
Anyway I needed this today, cause skin is going wild from pre-school stress -___-
In all honesty, the Dead Sea Spa is actually my least favourite of the three. I like the Glacial Clay or the Red Earth Clay. First because they aren’t as heavily perfumed as the Dead Sea Spa, and because I find them to leave my skin with a bit more moisture once washed off. But the general effects are the same as the others, detoxing my skin and helping to soothe it (especially when stressed).
You can find Montagne Jeunesse products at Walmart, or on the Farley & Co website HERE for about $2.49CAN.
