I have this weird love hate relationship with greens. I like how they look…just not on me. But green is something I associate with Christmas, as it is the colour of the lovely trees that you all put up (we don’t do it anymore…).
In any case, I wanted to incorporate a little shine, and a little art so this is what I came up with.
I used:
Zoya Hermina
Claires Emerald City
China Glaze Mistletoe Kisses
Nubar Verde
Orly Enchanted Forest
I used all of the colours up there to create the marble. I used regularly scotch tape and applied it diagonally (I always think of Harry Potter when I think of diagonally…Diagon Alley lol…”What did he say? I think he said diagonally…”) I pressed down firmly, but even still the polish seeped under parts of the tape. In any case, I randomly dotted the polishes over the nail, and used a toothpick to make the swirls. In the areas where it is spare or bare, I rolled the toothpick the surrounding polish and rolled over the bald spot.
I used Orly Enchanted Forest on the ring finger
I use China Glaze Mistletoe Kisses on the index finger
I applied a coat of Enchanted Forest on the pinky, than applied a coat of Mistletoe Kisses
Finally, because there was a bit of seepage, I applied the green striping tape to the diagonal, and then the gold
I think that I should have done the ring finger in Mistletoe Kisses, as it looked a little odd, but oh well :)

Lastly I wanted to share today’s #12DaysofBeauty #BeautyUnited post. Just two more and I can post the giveaway :D (I posted Day 1, Day 2)
I think that party prep means a lot of things, one of which is hair. You want your hair to shiny, and look smooth (especially if you are like me and haven’t gone for a trim in awhile -___-).
Start with an after shampoo treatment (Pantene Expert Collection Keratin Repair), use Pantene Moisture Whip to smooth out the strands, and dry. Finally use the Vidal Sassoon Volume Hairspray Boost & Lift at the roots to give limp locks a bit more Ooomph (definitely a big help for people like me).
Slap on a gorgeous lipstick (I’m wearing Covergirl Eternal, which I didn’t capture the colour right…but trust me…very pretty :P), add a big smile, and hit the party
