You have to give it to Sephora and the many different brands for putting out such great stocking stuffers, and mini sets to try out products. One reason (other than celebrating) that I enjoy the holiday season.
Some examples…(that I may or may not want… :P)
All prices in CAN
Sephora Tinted Balm Wand Set $14
I mean isn’t this weird?! But oddly something fun to get. It reminds me of those pencils where you pulled off the tip when it got dull, and pushed in in to the bottom of the pencil…
Philosophy Hope In A Jar Ornament $15
This isn’t very compatible with my skin, but a still a great way to test one of Philosophy’s favourite products.
Bite Beauty Best of Bite Set $28
The colours are pretty, and housed in a great tin (I love tin containers…)
Caudalie Hand And Body Duo $15
I misread the brands name when I first saw it, and thought it was Claudine… -__- Anyway for the price, you get to try out two of their enjoyed products. I actually picked up a few of these to give to friends.
Murad Rapid Results Set
I tried another line from them, and loved the sampler I tried. I am considering this one as well, and its well priced :)
Bliss Mistletoe Must Haves $15
I liked the lotion when I tried it, and it would be interesting to try out the balm as well
OCC Lip Tar All Star Mini $25
I’ve only tried OCC once, only because of a friend who had bought one let me steal a little squeeze of hers. I did enjoy it, though the one I tried was too bright for me to feel comfortable in. I like that this is a mini set, that you can mix to your own delight. Plus it comes with a mini brush! I did buy this during the VIB sale, but haven’t opened it yet…should get on that soon.
Tarte Thoughtful Treasures Bestsellers Set $23
I like that this comes in mini sizes, cause I can try and hook friends on the great blush!
Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask Pods $10
I actually got a sample of this from Sephora, when I went in to ask about masques to help with skin detoxing. This isn’t for everyone, but it is another great way to check out the product.
Hourglass Opaque Rouge Liquid Lipstick – Icon Mini $12
I cannot tell you how tempted I was to order this. It is just so darn cute, plus I’ve heard that the formula is quite decent.
Stila Holiday Essentials Kit $25
I got a sample of the lip colour in Beso, when Sephora had a coupon code for it. The forumla isn’t the best, but I didn’t hate it. Colour wise, its pigmentation did surprise me. I have the full size liner, and have only tried it a few times, but though it doesn’t last as well as my greatly loved MUFE Aqua Liner, it still did a decent job. And the fact that it has a mini of Kitten Shadow is just a plus. I have the reg size shadow for years now, and have a fond place for it in my heart, when it forced its way in after a year lol
The next few were released as part of Black Friday, so I don’t know how long they will last. But if you do get them today, make sure to use the code SUSPENSE so that you get the Cyber Monday Mystery Sample Bag :)
Tarte Little Miracles Best Selling Essentials $12
I can’t tell you how much mini products affect me so…I want this for the sake that it is just so cute looking. So bad -__-
Too Faced Better Than Sex Amazing Eye Set $12
I have only tried shadows from Too Faced, but I thought that this was a neat deal to try out their mascara…especially if they are claiming its better than sex lol
Stila Artful Eye Collectors Edition $12
I do love Stila Shadows, as such, when I saw this earlier this week on the website, I picked up a few for friends. The shadows are typically soft, and just such pretty sheen to it.
Ole Henriksen Clean Sweep Duo $12
I like trying out facial wipes…though I don’t use them on a daily basis. You aren’t really supposed to, but I mean to have them for emergencies, when you are too tired to wash your face, they are handy to have.
Blinc Lash & Brow Discovery Duo $12
When I was younger, my Dad’s sister told my Mom to use mascara on her brows. That way it would give her a use for all the samples mascaras that she got, and make them look less harsh. Well this kit lets you use one for your lashes, and one for your brows! Plus I do like the mascara. Friend gave me one as a gift, and I liked using it.
Bareminerals Enchanting Eyes $12
I haven’t used the primer, but I have heard that it is decent. But their shadows on the other hand…I picked up a palette on sale, and LOVED it. I like that this is also small so that you can tote it around with you.
Eyeko Skinny Mini Duo $12
I haven’t used Eyeko for awhile now. A few years back they were cheap, so I used to buy their illuminator…and polish…but now pretty pricey. I know people who love their liners, but personally not a fan. I do like their mascara, but if you don’t wield the brush right, it can give you crazy spider lashes…which grosses me out lol but it is a good deal to try it out.
Cover Fx Illuminating Setting Powder $10
Several years ago, I was invited to a mini information session for Cover Fx. And I fell in love. Since then, the gloss and the foundations have been part of my routine. I had tried the setting powder as part of their kit that I had received then, and well it is pretty nice. No creasing, does not look cakey. Since this is an illuminating version of it, it really does intrigue me.
In any case, some have gone OOS online, but were replenished after a few days. Otherwise you can check in stores, as I have seen most of these at the Sephora in the Eaton Centre.
If there a mini stocking stuffer that you had your eyes on?
