I was at Sally’s a little while ago, to pick up a Gigi Wax set that was on sale at Sally Beauty Supply. Well since I was there, of course I needed to check out the clearance section. Well this store had some China Glaze glitters, so I figured I would buy one. At $3.50, I figured I could break my rule and buy one. I ended up picking Razzle Me Dazzle Me, mainly because I thought it was a glitter in a black base. Plus I don’t have a glitter in this colour; a slightly gold tinted glitter.
Well…this sat around for a few days…untouched. Until I thought I would swatch a finger.
It was love at first sight.
So of course I had to use it, and I decided to incorporate it in to a mani refresher, over my Zoya Reva.
It wasn’t that this polish was glitters in a black base, but rather the multi sized black glitters made me think that it was in a black base. In reality, it was hexagonal black and goldish glitter, tiny black and goldish glitters, medium sized black and goldish glitters, and then black bars!
The black bars didn’t give me any trouble as they were thin enough and short enough that they stayed put. No lifting at all. And I LOVED that one coat was enough! In my swatches that is exactly what I have done, one coat.
Anyway, having played around with this, I really REALLY want to go back and buy the others, but this Sally’s was rather out of my way. So I didn’t end up going back. However if I saw them again I would be really tempted to check it out :)
(I know, cuticles are gross. I’ve been neglecting my hand cream :T)
