Not Your Mother…or anyone’s mother…

*Products in this post have been purchased with my own funds for my own amusement*

Okay…I know…I didn’t know what to title this…so that’s what I went with…

Lame

Now that that is out of the way…

Clean Freak was one of the products I picked up over a year ago, when I was in New Jersery for the weekend. It was on sale for…about $5, and thought I’d check it out for that price. I actually haven’t seen it in stores (in Canada)…but it could be that I don’t notice it because I wasn’t really a fan.

The roots still look a little oily, as they were still a little oily.

You can kind of see in this picture that I still have remains of the shampoo in my hair…and this was after I brushed.

So what was the personal verdict?

The thing I had the most issue with, was that it felt like a hairspray. A little more on the crunchy side. Definitely not as powdery as I am used to. On top of that, you have the fact that despite shaking my head, and brushing it out, I still could see bits of the shampoo in my hair. So I wasn’t too fond of the difficulty factor. Maybe if your hair isn’t as dark as mine, you will have better lucky. If you want to decrease the amount of product stuck to separate strands, you could be more careful to focus the shampoo to only the roots. I did find that helped a bit. Anyway, for the cost it wasn’t too bad, but I would still prefer to pay a little more and stick with my Batiste :)
