So this is another semi fail Skittles Mani. I say semi, as it seems a little too busy. Plus with the colouring it seems better suited for the colder weather. Not for the mid 20 degrees celcius we have going here.

Index
Two coats of China Glaze Hook and Line (which I bought on clearance from Sally’s Beauty), and applied a coat of MODI Tweedy Jacket (which I was gifted from DA/Y Unni) but then filled in the bald patches by blotting the polish on to the areas.

Middle
I applied China Glaze Liquid Leather to the 1/3 of the nail, China Glaze Hook and Line to the middle 1/3, and then finally Sally Hansen Xtreme White On to the tip. I let it dry lightly then used a sponge to blend it together for a more gradient look. The black to silver blended better than the silver to white.

Ring
I applied two coats of Sally Hansen Xtreme White On, then drew two lines down my nail using OPI Silver Shatter. Then drew lines using China Glaze Hook and Line.

Pinky
I had originally applied OPI Silver Shatter over two coats of China Glaze Liquid Leather. However it looked off with the ring finger. So I applied another coat of Liquid Leather over the shatter. My bottle of Liquid Leather is actually quite sheer, so it allows for the shatter to peek through.

I kept the thumb just black.

Modi Glam Nails Tweed Jacket is a lovely glitter. It is one of the two MODI polishes that DA/Y-unni sent
me recently, that I shared HERE.

The suspension used in the polish is great! Dispenses the glitter just right, and you really could just go for one coat. I think that the rectangle bars could have been just a tiny bit shorter, as then they would probably stay flatter on the nail, but I still didn’t have issues with them lifting.
