Korres Raspberry Antioxidant Liquid Lipstick

Korres Raspberry Antioxidant Liquid Lipstick

I think they are discontinuing this line, as Sephora seems to be OOS on them. But this was a rather recent acquisition of mine, and I liked it so much, I gifted a few to friends for Christmas.
Right on the tube of Korres Liquid Lipstick it states, “Water-based formula for intense colour and long lasting creamy texture.”

Now what I liked about Soft Pink was that this was a MLBB colour for me. It brightened up the lip just a tad, and the slight glossy look gave it more definition than a plain lip. And as I get older, I realize that any product, even a balm, is needed on my lips. It just helps to bring more life into my face. Thus I try to avoid going bare lip at any time. Another reason why I am starting to carry more and more lip products in my makeup bag lol

The first thing to note is that the tube is a little misleading. It states that it is a lipgloss and lipstick at the same time. In that sense it is rather odd, as I don’t really agree with either. This wasn’t gloss enough to be labeled a lip gloss (in my view), and it didn’t provide as much colour as a lipstick would (thus I wouldn’t really categorize it as a lipstick). However, despite that, I loved it.
The best way I can explain this product, is that it was a very heavily tinted balm. When they said that it has a creamy texture, they weren’t kidding. It was the first thing my friend AK mentioned when she tried the tube I gifted her. She liked that it felt like a balm, light, and allowed the colour to be sheered out and built up.

That was exactly why I loved it as well, so I was glad that those were the points she brought up.
The one thing I didn’t like, was the scent. It was a little too sweet for my liking. I believe it was vanilla? It basically smelt like I had frosting on my lips lol I like eating it with my cupcake and cakes, but on my lips…not really a scent I like. But I ignore that aspect to it, only because I enjoy the product so much.

I picked mine up at Strawberrynet.com, but my friend was saying that you could find them at makeup outlets in the US as a kit as well.

They are a tad on the small size, only 3.5mL (basically reminds me of my pinky, as it is so thin). But the product still entices me to try out more if I had the opportunity. Basically that translates to, “I’m stalking websites to buy a few more as backups…” ;p
