…in terms of receiving mail.

This, is actually a really boring post about what I got…some I’m returning, and others…I’m dispute-ing.

If you are extremely bored, you can view, but otherwise…this post is more of an outlet for me to get this off my chest.

(My mom says that if I keep this up, the mailman (who is extremely cheerful for 8:30 in the morning, and NICE!) is gonna hate me. Which would royally suck.)

So I started my week off with…my NYX jumbo pencil ebay purchase!~
I was really excited for these, because of the reviews that people were doing. So easy and carefree. And I like that it is in pencil format. Anyway, I was super SUPER happy. I tore it open, despite the fact that I was late to leave for school…

I tore it open…to find this…

The pencil Lemon (which I find funny, cause its like green?!) had its tip broken off. Actually you can’t tell in this picture, but the yellow is also broken as well. I placed it back on it though…And if you look at the heights of the pencils, you notice that the brown colour, at the end of the chain, is shorter. Upon closer inspection, you notice that it has been melted. MELTED at some point, which is why it is shorter. Also the bottom part of this pencil falls off.

Another things is that the pencils are all covered in this thin layer of some filmy substance. It feels oily…not sure really how to describe it, but it feels gross.

BUT!
I also got my Mario Badescu samples :)! So cute. I got the Special Cleaning Lotion “C”, Glycolic Foaming Cleanser, Enzyme Cleansing Gel, Drying Cream, Ceramide Eye Gel, Aloe Moisturizer SPF15.

I can’t try them out at the moment, cause my face has decided to rebel against me this month. That time + the stress at school has totally over ruled on my face. I was hoping for the strawberry mask? But despite not getting it, I love the smells of what I got. It is very…interesting. It made me feel like I was 5 all over again, smelling mama’s lotions, thinking it was so cool, watching her take care of her skin.

I also got my Aldo purchase today. I know I said I wasn’t gonna spend money, but it was a bag I desperately had wanted before, but felt that 85+ dollars for it wasn’t worth it for Aldo. Well the cream coloured bag is on sale for 49.99, so I picked that up with a light yellow wallet. (The snap on the other beige wallet I bought from Aldo not too long ago, broke.)


But the bag…just wasn’t what I remembered it to be. It wasn’t…pretty. I had LOVED it before, when I saw it almost at the beginning of the summer. And now. Meh. Weird. The wallet also feels…cheap. Cheaper than the beige wallet! And that one is vinyl. But it holds more cards…so I’m still on the fence whether I want to return it or not. What do you think?

I also got my second Mary Kay Eyeshadow in brown. I paid for this on the 6th, and they shipped it only last week. I swear I need to stop buying from ebay. But in all truth, they aren’t usually this bad…that’s why I am so surprised.

I was really disappointed to know that she didn’t put in any case, and just pathetically wrapped my shadow in POORLY *USED* wrapping paper. I mean, I am all for reusing. But this…I mean if there were some proper explanation to this, when I wouldn’t have minded as much. But I pay for shipping. I expect a certain level of decency.

So yes…to round out my week thus far…
The textbook I needed for one of my psychology courses is missing in the library. I was really relying on that…so I will have no choice but to shell out 140+ when it eventually comes into stock at our bookstore. (It is now 3 weeks into the course, and the publisher’s have yet to ship out our textbooks! How do they expect us to learn from their expensive textbooks if they don’t make it available to us?)
